The challenge

Quality is a condition if you want to produce a delicious beer. At Heineken the quality of the production but also the organisation is continually monitored. Worldwide assessments take place by international teams on location with which the local organization gets to work. The outcome and marks, however, were often converted in mails, pictures, notes and complex Excel-sheets. That could be better!

Our solution

To simplify the process of assessments and centralize the data we developed a total solution for Heineken: An app, a websystem and a management system. Employees easily fill in on-the-road findings, pictures and remarks on their tablets or mobile phones. The web based system adds all findings together in one screen, after which the team forms a definite answer. The definite situation is delivered ready-made in automatically generated PowerPoint presentations and PDF-reports.

Beside assessments the solution also provides for another challenge: Every quarter local Heineken organizations report to about 150-200 datapoints. This process is completely automated by Aptic via a webapp. Every local Heineken organization receives a unique link and code with which the data can be reported every quarter. In this way the main office is able to analyse and compare the countries in detail via the Microsoft Power BI reports. Heineken : Open your world!

Results

In 2017 the solution was already received during the first demo with the words: ”I love this app”! In the two years afterwards more than 200 assessments were successfully carried out. After which it was decided to renew the whole platform and extend it. That new platform is used a lot in the mean time and maps the Heineken organisation even better. Over all a successful product of which we and Heineken are very proud!
