An idea is born! An exciting moment, of course! You're probably very enthousiastic about it and so are we. In this phase we are going to sit around the table, with a cup of coffee of course, to get the wishes of the concept clear. Are these wishes not quite clear or do you not know for sure what's possible? No problem! We'd like to think along with you.
As soon as all wishes are clear we can start to give the idea a functional shape. In this design, all the ins and outs of the concept are established. As soon as the functional design is finished the graphical design can be worked on. In the graphical design your idea gets a lick of paint! For Agile projects we will return to this phase every Sprint. In some cases we even return to the concept phase.
Time to put a helmet on and build your idea! We develop Android, iOS, Webapps and Management Suites. In this phase several developers are going to work with your idea to make it a reality. A database here, a CMS system there and of course the app, loaded on whatever device you want.
The sprint has been finished and can be tested! This is always an exciting moment. We always focus on testing internally first to be able to deliver the best quality. After that you can test the app. We have to admit that sometimes it's not perfect on the first attempt, but no worries! We will fix the issues in the next Sprint.
It's time to unroll the app! A beautiful and exciting moment, for the app is going to be used. This is a moment to reflect on the trajectory that we have gone through together. Starting with an idea and finally reaching the actual product! We can be proud of it.

Aptic was founded in 2011. At that time the company, then called Sharpener, only consisted of a few people. We were a small but passionate club, that even back then guaranteed innovation, quality and flexibility in which the customer always stood central. Throughout the years we have gradually grown. We got more customers, more developers, and were able deliver a higher and higher quality. In 2015 we said goodbye to the name Sharpener and chose a new name: Aptic. This name change represented the next step we wanted to make as a company. We started with bigger projects and challenges and our team grow together with us. At this moment Aptic consists of a team of 12 motivated and enthusiastic people. Although we now have a bigger team, a bigger office and larger-scale projects, we always stay close to that core it once started with. Striving for innovative and high-quality solutions, in which the user and customer are always put front and centre. In the 10 years we have existed that has grown to be our unique strength. Good applications, that are technically well-made and make the user's life just a little easier. That's what we do it for.
